Health scare rocks wet t-shirt competitions

The BBC reporting:

Women undergoing breast implant surgery have a 2.5% risk of suffering a post-op infection, a worldwide study of 10,000 people suggests.

That's 250 infections per 10,000. Or should that be 10,000 x 2?
