Cosmic jokes from judges

James Taranto, who edits Best of the Web Today at opinionjournal.com, writes an article inspired by the most recent judicial edict redefining American culture, not to mention the meaning of things in general. New cosmic standards for society come this time from a New York judge declaring homosexual marriage a civil right. The ruling features the dipsomaniacal contention that the right to private sodomy demands the public sanction of same-sex marriage.

It should be clear by now that this can only be resolved by a constitutional amendment defining marriage as being exclusively between a man and a woman. Absent that we have an unending cultural revolution on our hands that will dissolve our civilization in a parade of postmodern fantasies.
